Journal Challenge: Collage

I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend so far! This is our last weekend before school starts next week. We’re spending lots of time with family and friends. We’re having fun and I’m trying to capture as much of it as possible in my journal. .

For #augustwithajournal Collage, I used different materials to create this journal entry: old pages from a dictionary, washi tape, and journal cards (sent from my lovely friend Aurelia @goldenleaf). Pens that I used were my Pentel Touch brush pens and Pilot Inkjoy gel ink pens. I had a lot of fun creating this! I’m definitely going to use more old pages from the dictionary—don’t worry I found it at Goodwill. I learned about this trick in Sarah’s @newleafwriter Intro to Art Journaling post at her website, New Leaf Book Nook. You guys should definitely check it out!

The washi tape I used for this journal entry and featured here are from my favorite washi tape store @pretty.packages. Becca has such a wide variety of choices and ships in the US and worldwide (check shipping guidelines for details).

I have a special announcement I’ll be making Monday—my fellow stationery addicts will love it! I’ve teamed up with Becca @pretty.packages for this, so stay tuned!
