I was tagged by the fabulous Sey @sey_books to do the tag #top5femalecharacters and I realized this would go so well with the prompt “If forced into battle, who would be on my dream team” for the #julyfantasychallenge. You see where this is going? I know. Awesome, RIGHT?!•
So my squad would consist of Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone series by Laini Taylor @lainitaylor, Blue Sergeant from The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater @maggie_stiefvater, Kate Thompson from Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman @heyerin, Sophie Lightwood and Tessa Grey from Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare @cassieclare1, and Maya from The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi @roshanichokshi. If you’ve read these books, then you can see why, right? I know this is just hypothetical, but I’m SO excited about this. Seriously. Like it should be a story. I’m going to explain a little why they are all so bad ass and would make my squad, but if you haven’t read any of these, first, GO READ THEM NOW. Next, you may want to avert your eyes because there will be spoilers!

On point would Blue Sergeant. She is sensible and can stay focused in tight situations. Also, she can amplify psychic powers. She could back up Maya with her amplifying abilities. My sharp shooter/sniper would be Kate Thompson. She can pick off the enemies from a distance like no big deal. My brawlers would be Sophie Lightwood, Tessa Grey, and Karou. Sophie and Karou would take lead. Since Tessa is a shapeshifter, she could take the form of either the enemy or someone else who could give her the advantage. Also, Karou can resurrect the dead if needed be. Then there’s Maya. She’s pretty much the closer. She can move stars and is queen of the underworld Akaran. She will cut your life thread with no regrets.

Okay. So, I may have thought about this a little. Okay A LOT. Now I really want this to happen! Like, I would give up a donut to see this. Who would be on your dream squad?
